The state pension age has been increasing incrementally since 2013 from 65 to 67 in 2024. ROA has commissioned by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment the facts and trends associated with the AOW age increase for the period 2007-2021.
This report discusses the fifth edition of the AOW Monitor. This monitor is based
on a conceptual framework that assumes an evaluation model in which various phases
are distinguished from the process by which the raising of the state pension age has an
effect on outcomes relevant to the policy process.
