Eric Bonsang is researcher at the health unit of the department of living conditions at LISER and Country Team Leader of the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) for Luxembourg. He holds a PhD in Economics from University of Liège (2008), a MSc in Economics from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (2003), and a BA in Economics from University of Liège (2001). Eric is also a fellow of the Robert N. Butler Columbia Aging Center (Columbia University), the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA, Maastricht University), the Network for Studies on Pensions, Aging and Retirement (Netspar), and the Research Centre in Public Economics and Population Economics (CREPP, University of Liège). He is Associate Editor of Ageing & Society and the Journal of the Economics of Aging. His current research interests focus on health economics, applied microeconometrics, economics of ageing, and labour and demographic economics.
